SYMPHONY
Throughout many years of hiking along the ocean coast, I have become fascinated by the interplay between rock and water. From the thunderous crash of waves striking the rocks, each producing its own distinct sound, to the quiet shimmer of water-worn pebbles, these moments have become a constant source of inspiration.
It is remarkable how these two contrasting elements complement one another so naturally. Rocks are solid, steadfast, and unmoving, while water is fluid, unpredictable, and ever-changing. Each possesses strengths that balance the other's qualities, creating a harmonious relationship that exists throughout nature.
I named this series Symphony to express the similarities between music and painting. Both have the power to move the soul and awaken emotion. Just as music is composed of harmonies, rhythms, and contrasting tones, these paintings are composed of bold and gentle colors that come together to create a symphony of color.
