PLACES
The favorite moments/places/scenes I caught through point&shot camera while traveling. From the photo images, I have created the pictures via pen and watercolor on wood panels. I use two type varnishes: aging and crackling for classic looking. At the last stage, to protect the artwork: I seal the artwork surface by many layers of clear medium painting coats and varnishes.
Capturing the quick image by a small camera in few seconds, and spending many hours to draw and paint a picture; I have found the relationship between the places and myself. Amazing what art can do!
All mixed media on panel 8" x 10" (pencil, pen, color pencil, watercolor, UV coating, aging and crackles varnishes, oil paint, oil medium layers, varnishes on wood panel).
